  • Mayo Clinic Nursing Student Internship Program at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Spend a summer working in an environment renowned for its progressive medical procedures and facilities. To qualify for Mayo's paid nursing summer internships, you must have completed two semesters of clinical nursing experience prior to the start of the program and be enrolled in a four-year baccalaureate nursing program.   • Operating Room Nurse Internship Program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, New Hampshire. The program includes classroom learning and clinical rotations and lasts for a period of seven to ten months. Interns must sign a contract committing to working full-time for two years at DHMC's operating room upon completion of the internship. This highly competitive nursing internship is offered to new graduates and experienced nurses who are interested in the field of oncology nursing. It is a 16-week program that provides specialized training in medical oncology, surgical oncology, blood and marrow transplant, ambulatory clinics, and intermediate care. Accepted interns receive a full Registered Nurse (RN) salary, tuition reimbursement, and support toward the Oncology Certification. A two-year full-time work commitment is required of interns.

  • Nurse Internships through Christiana Care Health System, Wilmington, Delaware. This paid internship is available to graduates of accredited nursing programs. Internships are offered in the following fields: critical care, emergency department, medical nurse, neonatal nurse and perioperative nurse. To be eligible, you also must have passed state boards, be a licensed RN in Delaware, and have less than a year of nursing experience. At the conclusion of the internship, you will be required to work full-time for two years at Christiana Care.
